EASY WAYS TO USE

Top Dressing: Sprinkle around the base of plants (~1 quarter cup per plant) to support microbial life and moisture retention. Water well to activate.

Soil Mixing: Blend into your potting soil to improve soil structure, aeration, and root growth. Ideal for repotting or refreshing tired soil. See below for application instructions.

Drainage Layer: While finer biochar isn’t typically used as a chunky drainage layer, a thin layer at the bottom of pots can help absorb excess drainage water & soluble nutrients, making them available to your plants when they need it later.

Epiphyte Growing: Use as a primary medium for orchids and other epiphytes that thrive in airy, moisture-retentive substrates.
APPLICATION COVERAGE & INSTRUCTIONS
Top Dressing Rate: ~1/4 cup per plant. A 2kg (4L) bag covers approximately 70 top dress applications.
Soil Mixing Ratio: Combine 1 part Activated & Inoculated Biochar to 9 parts soil, by volume (about 10%). For lighter blends or seed starting mixes, use closer to 5%. A 2kg (4L) bag will produce up to 40L of enriched soil, depending on your mixing ratio.
